Since releasing his online documentary series "The Beautiful World of Jeffree Star," Shane Dawson has faced growing criticism that his videos are over produced, long, and lack structure. Some also claim Shane himself does not always listen to feedback from his audience.

I wanted to learn more about this from the Shane Dawson subreddit, where I learned of this 2014 Starz reality series called The Chair in which Shane and another filmmaker, Anna Martemucci, were give almost a million dollars each to make competing films from the same original script.

What was captured was a lot of Shane being closed off to creative feedback as he went on to make a film that was so bad I could barely believe it, called Not Cool. This film was vile, with lots of insensitive jokes and very crude humor.

Meanwhile, the films director goes off on crazy tirades and makes everyone around him miserable. It's a lot to take in!
