Today we're looking at the 2003 DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie) Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior starring Brenda Song.

While this movie was a great step forward for Asian American Representation at the time, looking back it still has some pretty narrow views on Chinese tradition that are worth exploring in light of the issues facing the United States and our Asian American and Pacific Islander communities today.
